Inside the Lunch Box is a Podcast that will dive into the world of cooking and show you how food is the key to bringing families, and friends together. Inside the Lunch Box will focus on foods from all over the world. Even though Africa is a thousand plus miles away there is a restaurant nearby to enjoy a great Ethiopian staple "Injera with wat atop". And what about Germany and their fried schnitzel or an authentic wurst with cabbage, yes!! there is one of those near by too. Food is one of the many elements of life that we all need, and eating great food starts as a kid growing up eating our mothers roast beef and taters and our grandmother secret apple pie recipe.

Hello my name is Chris Mackey I'm an Army Vet which I served for three years and did one tour in Iraq (OIF). Once I got out the army on an Honorable discharge I moved to Houston Texas. after a few shorts years I decide to work as private contractor and head back to the Middle East. in 2009 I left for Kuwait to wok for CSA a private security company. I lived there for 4 1/2 long years. On fathers day 2013 and came back to Houston which then in enrolled into culinary arts at the institute Lenortre in Houston Texas.
